Lives Changed

Mondays 5pm eastern

Who is Deb Lundquist? Well, I am a wife, mother, grandmother of 3. I had a fatal car accident in April, 1999 in which I should have died, but was spared. The car on the other hand did not survive. Because of this, I developed Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy which is the worse pain known to man and wish I had died. Several years later, the pain doctors put the RSD to sleep for 7 glorious years. However, it hid the Fibromyalgia. When I asked God what He wanted me to do with this, His answer was immediate. TEACH! First I had to learn what it was. Then I had to learn how. Once this was done, I was finally able to use my education and do what God wanted me to do and He has guided me all the way. First I started my support Group on Facebook, Your Fibromyalgia. Then I started my webpage Your Fibromyalgia, LLC. I did a Radio Interview and I teach. I also use doTERRA Essential Oils which are all natural and work with my body and teach with them as well. I do a lot of research as that is part of my education. I have spoken to Congress in the 1990’s in Washington DC about RSD and in Maryland as well. I was the Vice President of a National Support Group for RSD. I am an expert about pain. I am not a doctor, I will not diagnose, prescribe any medications. I will not suggest you get on or off any medications. I will suggest doctors to go to. I will say this though, Fibromyalgia is real! I am here to help you. If you have questions you would like answered on the show, the email is liveschangedradio@gmail.com.

Present Tense Future Perfect

Wenesdays 2pm eastern

Let’s begin with the question of why and how does anyone become entrenched
in the discipline of leadership development?  For myself, it began with a
graduate course on The Presidency and the required reading of a huge tome
by James MacGregor Burns on what he considered to be the most significant
Presidents in the history of the US.  His was a qualitative, historical,
and, at times, psychological account of the leadership vision of those who
changed the institution of the American executive.  One could say, in
today’s terms, he selected transformational leaders.  In fact, Burns is the
academic who coined the phrase, ‘transformational leadership.’

It was fascinating to understand the determination each of these men had to
lead and I wanted to be part of that journey for today’s current and future
leaders.

Present Tense, Future Perfect is a radio show about leadership.  Not any
leadership, but it seeks to enquire into the factors responsible for
today’s turning point in history and if those of us engaged in developing
leaders are doing it right.  How are organizations, societies, and
individuals being impacted by changes in our world?  How do we develop
leaders to respond to them?  What changes can we make today to have an
impact on tomorrow?  This holds for us on a personal level as much as on
organizational and societal levels.

What are the factors which are reshaping our world? I was asked what I saw
as the principal challenges facing organizations today.  I responded,
Globalization and Innovation.  Then I heard Thomas Friedman talking about
his new book, Thank You for Being Late.  He identified the first two and
added, Climate Change, and Technology. I could agree with that.  In fact,
one could well argue that Technology is the principal driver of the first
three.

Developing leaders for a future (and a present) reshaped by these factors
is the overall theme of the program.  However, over 16 weeks we intend to
explore with experts in their fields,

– The effects of Globalization on our economies and labor markets and
how global and international companies are responding

– How Innovation both excites those companies engaged in finding new
ways to satisfy their customers, but also challenges them because it
requires a dual focus on maintaining the current business while planning
for the new

– What does climate change mean for our agricultural requirements and do
rising sea levels mean massive population shifts within and among
Continents?

– If Moore’s Law tells us that advances in digital technologies will
grow exponentially every 2 years, what does it mean for humans’ ability to
maintain control over the machines and devices?

Perhaps organizations today are expecting too much
of their leaders.  With that in mind, we’ve invited guests to talk about
Mindfulness, stress management, the introduction of yoga into the
workplace, and meditation.  If the world is moving at such an incredible
pace and our ability to learn how to catch up with the factors responsible
for change is challenged, how do we anchor ourselves and keep in touch with
our humanity, our souls, our feelings?

Personal development, growth, and fast learning may be our competitive
advantage, but at what cost?

We invite you to listen to Present Tense, Future Perfect, and to
participate.  The hope is to provoke, stimulate, and
inspire.

Biblical Vibrations

Tom Vosburgh2

Tuesdays 8pm eastern

Boldly biblical and grounded in scripture, yet deliciously unconventional.  Dr. Vosburgh will send you back to your Bibles to take another look and see what you may have missed or misunderstood.  When Christians play fast and loose with the scriptures, they rob it of its power and create cynics. Even worse, the Bible is discounted as wishful thinking. Some then see it as a source of bigotry, a cause for polarization and even the work of the devil.

Remember, in the wilderness Satan also twisted and distorted scripture so as to disrupt Jesus from his mission.  The church and the faith is also under attack today.  When Christians overstate, mistake, confuse and misread scripture, they are co-conspirators.  Dr Vosburgh is on a mission to stop the misuse and abuse of the Bible, thereby creating dialogue and mutual respect in a multi-religious, and secular humanistic world that longs for peace.  Dr Vosburgh doesn’t believe we have to agree on everything.  Come  share, grow and let the Holy Spirit illuminate and energize you so faith is ignited.

Dr Vosburgh pastored churches in Rockford, Chicago, Genoa and Polo Ill. He is an ordained pastor in the United Methodist Church and now retired.  He  has a Master of Divinity from Garrett Theological Seminary, a Doctor
of  Ministry from San Francisco Theological Seminary, and hosted “Joy To The
World”  on WREX-TV in the 1970’s.

What is outrageous freedom?  It’s a question we get asked a lot!  It is something that happens to you when you suddenly realize that nonconformity might not be so bad.  It’s that “aha” moment when you come into awareness that your desire to be “one-self” is taking over your desire to please others.  Outrageous freedom is all about self-sufficiency, and putting a past behind that no longer serves you!

Sometimes, let’s face it, change is hard.  Once we step onto this path, most of us need guidance, support, and someone to help us find our Bravery and Ambition to stay on track and do Amazing things for ourselves!

The Unfolding Self

Tuesdays 11am eastern

I am entering the last 25% of my life, where I am embarking on a new adventure. I am a trained psychologist, and educational administrator, who spent over twenty years as an administrator in international schools. Throughout my life, my passion has been the areas of metaphysics, and parapsychology. However, it has only been in recent years I could speak of these interests openly, without having others thinking I had “lost a screw.”

During my years abroad, I explored many different cultures, and lived in six different countries, Kuwait, Qatar, Chad, South Africa, Rwanda, and the United States. I also traveled much of the world as an observer of life, and people. My international experiences brought me many adventures including, living in Kuwait when we bombed Iraq the second time, evacuated out of Chad, as well as many others. These have led to my writing a blog for the Huffington Post, and also one at www.annamkarola.com where I recount many stories of these days.  To say I learned much would be an understatement of monumental proportions.

I personally have had metaphysical experiences while engaging in meditation, being high on various substances, and under other circumstances. I have worked with adolescents who have experimented with satanic rituals, and at one time was considered an expert in this area. It is not an area I prefer to explore at this time of my life. I believe with the Eastern Orthodox religion that evil only has the power we give it. It has no energy of its own and cannot maintain itself without support from humans. Consequently, I have no desire to support it in any way. When forced to discuss the subject, I treat it with great caution and respect. I have learned from personal experience, it is not to be treated lightly.

What brings me great joy is the sheer pleasure of pursuing studies with individuals like Neale Donald Walsch, Stanislav Grof, Carl Jung, Ken Wilbur, to name just a few. I believe, with them, that there is a spiritual awakening taking place, and many humans are becoming conscious individuals. It is time we woke up, and stood for what we believed. The radio show is my way of doing this.

There are many people who are working hard to bring Light and conscious responsibility to this particular section of the universe, Earth (Gaia). There are those whom no one has heard of, but who have made an incredible impact. I want to give voice to these people as I find them.

It is time we woke up. We are like three year olds, who do not have a clue what we are doing. We think our actions are without consequence, and we bear no responsibility. It reminds me of the show I watched recently, of an old Criminal Investigation Service (CIS), in which a three year old smothers his four month old, brother. He did not have a clue what he had done, and could not be held responsible. We are like this three year old, and it is time for this to change.

I believe my radio show can have a huge impact in the bringing of consciousness to people. I am a conduit for bringing this message, and making it Live. In addition, I maintain a private practice as a Spiritual Guide, and Spiritual Coach. I am also putting together a book, Lest I forget, of my writings.
